PURPOSE

Our goal is to strengthen young people within our community in all areas possible. 

Strength within each individual will create strength within home, family and

 the community is what we believe and strive to promote.

With education being the key factor to youth empowerment we will be providing

 educational services to all who ask for it.

Tutoring services are available to all school age children by Delaware County Community College Co-Op program in a safe and comfortable environment.

Health education instruction is provided monthly and as needed by a nurse experience with pediatric and adolescent healthcare.

This education will lead to our young being better informed about their bodies and thus being able to make better and more informed decisions. Instruction will provide confidential in a nonjudgmental fashion. 

Diversity activities will include monthly social gathering to promote positive re- enforcement to those who attend our programs and encouragement for others to become involved. 

Our youth will learn entrepreneurial and business skills through a small business with

 The Empowerment Zone under the supervisor of our Trustees. 

This will teach positive communication skills and also build self-esteem.

We see an immediate need for many services in our community. 

We will empower our youth by encouraging them to become involved. 

Our children will recognize the needs of their peers and neighbors and be sensitive to those needs. 

They will help identify person with needs or families with needs. 

The children will be working directly with The Empowerment Zone to obtained donations to help meet the needs of others. 

The lesson learned will be charity again promoting self-esteem as well as citizenship. 

By learning these lessons our youth will have learned self-respect, self-discipline, self-esteem and self, there for have worked and become EMPOWERED.
